Also, for ages 8+ in the Boise area the first of July, consider joining our Youth Video Project about faith. It’s going to be so fun to create, perform, and film together in a camp-like format! Luminosity is officially a member of daCi, an international organization that supports quality dance education for children everywhere. Luminosity dancers are included with membership benefits including discounts on gatherings and dance workshops.
We are getting so excited to attend the June gathering in Maryland — join us there this month! Our dance film “Like a Child” was selected to be showcased at the 2026 National Gathering in an evening showcase featuring dance films collected from daCi members. Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that your film submission has been accepted to be presented at the Playing with Possibilities, daCi USA: 8th National Gathering at Towson University, Maryland, on June 22-26, 2026. As a gentle reminder, the 2026 Dance Film Viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23rd, from 6 PM to 7 PM ET during the Gathering.

2026 Youth Video Project
Luminosity Video Projects are faith-based dance works shared on YouTube and other social platforms. Participating dancers learn and create choreography then perform in various locations while being filmed. The footage is edited into one complete video and shared online to radiate God’s light and love through dance.
Youth ages 9-14 can join us this Summer Season in Meridian, Idaho, for the “Faith” Video Project
July 6-10 from 9:00 to 11:00am
Printed registration papers and release form will provided and need to be filled out the first day during the parent meeting (July 6 at 9am). This form is to save your spot and get updates and reminders as this project moves forward.
2026 Video Projects
Each year, Luminosity creates one or more uplifting dance films to share God’s light and goodness through dance online. Rehearsals, film dates, and locations vary each year depending on the project. Join us in the creative process as a choreographer and/or dancer, or join in the production process as a videographer, costume designer, location scout, video editor, sound design, or writer.

From the Director
I am so excited to represent Luminosity at the daCi USA National Gathering in Maryland in a couple weeks. It’s just my daughter and I attending, but I’m hopeful we’ll have a bigger group of us join the daCi gatherings in the future. It’s incredible to learn and dance among people from all over the country, I look forward to sharing more about the experience next month.
I hope you keep creating as you enjoy whatever type of summer you have in front of you!
