2027 Performance Opportunity
If you noticed that this newsletter was delayed, this is why. We applied to perform at The Salt Lake Temple Celebration next year during the open house. We were supposed to hear back by the end of August but there were so many applicants that they needed a few more weeks to sort it out.
We have been accepted to perform! All past and present Luminosity artists and dancers ages 8 and older will be contacted to join us for this amazing opportunity. We look forward to sharing God’s light and love through dance at this celebration event.

Ensemble Registration
The Children’s Ensemble has a waiting list this season, but there is still room to join the Youth Ensemble for those dancers ages 9-14. Register by September 30th to dance with us this season!
For those dancers ages 12-18 wanting more choreography and performance experience, consider joining the Touring Ensemble this year. Register here to reserve your spot (minimum 6 dancers required).
2026 Video Projects
Each year, Luminosity creates one or more uplifting dance films to share God’s light and goodness through dance online. Rehearsals, film dates, and locations vary each year depending on the project. Join us in the creative process as a choreographer and/or dancer, or join in the production process as a videographer, costume designer, location scout, video editor, sound design, or writer.

Monthly Adult Workshops
Join us once a month for a free Dance Workshop!
Luminosity Community Workshops are designed for adults, but mature dancers age 12+ are welcome.

From the Director
Teaching this great group of kids this season has been such a delight already! They have jumped in to learning choreography, exploring dance concepts, and building our dance community, matching or exceeding my enthusiasm about it all. It is very exciting to work with them and feed off their energy as I teach and prepare for each class.
I am also so happy to report that we’ve been accepted to perform at the Salt Lake Temple Celebration next year! I had happy butterflies as I read the email and look forward to gathering artists, designing a program, and sharing the light of Christ in this wonderful way!
