Oh Come, Emmanuel
The Children’s Ensemble and the Youth Ensemble have been working hard this season connecting dance concepts with inspiration from the book of Luke and other scriptures anticipating, describing, and celebrating the birth of our Savior. Our show, “Oh Come, Emmanuel,” features both ensembles sharing the stage and dancing together.
Join us December 9 at 12:00pm!
Youth Activities
Luminosity is offering free activity nights for ages 8-18 this Fall. Spring Season
Luminosity is now accepting new registrations for the Children’s Ensemble and the Youth Ensemble Spring 2023 Season! Returning dancers, remember to message the director to save your spot.
We’ll do another video parent meeting to January 27 at 4pm (link is sent after registering). Weekly classes begin February 2, 2024 and continue through March 30, 2024 on Saturday mornings.
The Children’s Ensemble will be more focused on in-class learning and movement experiences connecting to the book “I Want to Be Baptized” by Analisa Hall. There will be a performance the last part of class on March 30th.
The Youth Ensemble will be more focused on creating and performing together. Dancers will expound on the theme “I Know Who I Am” and have the opportunity to perform for family and friends as well as do a service tour performing at assisted living centers and other possible venues in April. Full details will be decided at the parent meeting
There is no audition or previous dance experience required to join. Dancers need to be ages 5-14 as of September 1, 2023. Register online to reserve your spot!
This season has brought a lot of learning and new friendships. Thanks for making room for me this season and understanding what it takes for me to make room for you in different seasons of my life too. We’re so excited to share this season’s uplifting performance with you, please come watch this Saturday at noon!
