Our Children's Ensemble had homework the first day of rehearsal to learn about their family history and return with a country where an ancestor came from. They were so enthusiastic as they shared their connection to different countries around the world or different parts of the United States. Teaching the Children's Ensemble is such a highlight of my week -- the girls are happy to learn, serve, and create together which makes all the difference when I offer a free program like this.

I love teaching the Children's Ensemble this season! The dancers are getting the routine of things and are showing improvement in their technique already! We have a cheer at the end of each class: "My body is amazing! And it can do wonderful things! I am strong! I am bright! I am needed! Thanks for dancing with me today, see you next time!"
