Holiday travels and jumping back into school schedules has delayed this update. It was a lot all at once! I hope you are transitioning back into your schedule well and enjoying the hope and motivation of a new year! Ensembles have already begun rehearsals but you can still dance with us again this season by joining a performing ensemble or attending a workshop, more details and updates below:

daCi Scholarship Recipients
Congratulations to two of our dancers for receiving a scholarship to the upcoming gathering this Summer! We look forward to hearing about their experience and are grateful that they’ll bless all of us by sharing their new knowledge and skills gained from it.
Luminosity is officially a member of daCi, an international organization that supports quality dance education for children everywhere. Luminosity dancers are included with membership benefits including discounts on gatherings and dance workshops.
2026 Video Projects
Each year, Luminosity creates one or more uplifting dance films to share God’s light and goodness through dance online. Rehearsals, film dates, and locations vary each year depending on the project. Join us in the creative process as a choreographer and/or dancer, or join in the production process as a videographer, costume designer, location scout, video editor, sound design, or writer.

Luminosity Community Workshops are designed for adults, but mature dancers age 12+ are welcome.

Youth Activities
Book your free activity night for your group (ages 8-18) this year!
Connect to the scriptures in a new way and have fun dancing together through a 30-60 minute movement class (length of class is up to you and your group’s needs). Now accepting instruction requests for January 8 – April 30, 2026.

From the Director
It’s always so great to take a break for the holidays to enjoy more time with family and the fun of the season. I hope you filled your cup as well and have successfully jumped back into routines this month.
I have already enjoyed meeting new dancers this month and starting a new season of dance together. We are focusing on faith with the Children’s and Youth Ensembles and have already seen how moving and learning from the scriptures together can strengthen our faith!
