Highlights

Dancing together while apart has been great! We have enjoyed three classes together the past two months and look forward to two more before this year is over. We have enjoyed classes focused on light, gratitude, and enduring with faith. Thanks again Annie and Micah for teaching!

The night Annie taught about gratitude has stuck with me this whole month. She encouraged us to focus on what our bodies CAN do — not what they used to be able to do, not what we wish they could do, just the wonder in all we still CAN do.

She opened with Psalms 100: “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

The Lord is good and we can serve him with gladness and thanksgiving. Even though each day (even each moment) is a different amount of effort we can extend, He knows our hearts and is glad when we pause to feel glad through thanks to Him. Showing gratitude through out movement and praiseworthy choreography was a memorable movement prayer together that night. Thanks again Annie!
