Great job Luminosity Youth Ensemble performing at Tapestry last weekend! Our girls were 6 of the 74 performers sharing the stage in this special community event.

After our brief stage time before the dress rehearsal, dancers needed extra practice time to review and rehearse the dance in order to perform their best. After watching them do it the best I’ve ever seen, I called the dancers over to chat. Why was this time so different? What were they thinking about?
One dancer shared that they had just tuned in and felt the pressure of getting on a nice stage and an audience, she was motivated to stay committed the whole time.
Another dancer shared that she was focused on what the dance was about — working on our faith and belief in God continually. She believes in God and wanted to share that work that she is putting in to her relationship with Him. She shared her testimony that her faith is real and she’s working on it now and will continue. She really felt that it was special to share her testimony through her movement.
It was thrilling to see their focus continue through dress rehearsal and the performance night with the same intensity and light that they each bring as the Youth Ensemble!
